I was pretty sick this last week which is why I didn’t submit a Chargers blog but also could barely get out and shoot pics as well.  Hell, I even got our new staff photog sick as well!  Regarding the Chargers, no matter how you cut it, “a loss is still a loss” and they’re a very talented 2-2 team facing the resurgent and undefeated Denver Broncos next week.  Can the Chargers win?  Yes, if they fix the ongoing problems we all know about like settling for Red Zone field goals, non-existent running game, and lackluster defense.  Can the Chargers lose?  Yes, if they continue to play the same crappy way they have, despite 2 lucky wins.

Back to my health issues.  After 3 days of aches & pains & coughing, I finally started to get better.  So glad it wasn’t swine flu!  I’m still coughing a bit but none of the goey, yellow $hit anymore!  Overall, much better thanks to modern cold/flu drugs, rest, and no alcohol for a week!

I got to thinking, what if it was more serious and I needed professional medical help?  Ok, NightStyleSD is still in its infancy and the benefits package is pretty much like the website at the moment so I would’ve been strapped with a BIG $$$$$ bill after treatment.  Maybe this health-care reform that sooooo many in the current administration & Congress are pushing is a good thing after all!

That leads me to the question that nobody that supports health-care reform with its government-run public option is wanting to answer:  “If you support health-care reform with a government-run public option, are you willing to forego you own private coverage and use the public option that will cover most normal “Joe’s & Josie’s?”

Yes, you will leave Kaiser/BlueCross/BlueShield et al…Great!  I applaud you and regardless of political party will support your efforts to have health-care reform passed no matter how we end up paying for it!

No, you will not leave Kaiser/BlueCross/BlueShield et al…..WTF?!  Why not?   Does it not send the wrong message that you support health-care reform but not really it’s government-run (I’m sure it won’t be like the DMV) public option?  I mean, if it’s good enough for me, why isn’t it good enough for you?

We’re fair dudes here so we welcome all opinions/comments and hopefully answers to a rather simple question.
